In 2009, from Feb 28th to Mar 2nd, the meeting of the Southern section of ASPB was held in Austin, TX. The topics of the symposium and graduate students presentation focused on synbiotic nitrogen fixation, improve crops’ resistance and other vast areas of plant physiology. Cici also gave a presentation on part of the data we collected from last Nov in Hengduan mountains, with the title “the Phylogeographic study of Lithocarpus (Fagaceae) in Hengduan Mountains, Sino-Himalaya region”.
